Fractal Universe's The Impassable Horizon - Album cover process

Got to design the album cover and scene design for french metal band Fractal Universe ! It's our 4th collaboration and I couldn't be happier to get to develop their complex, intricate visual universe more and more as each project goes further and further.
Started with a batch of sketches, got the ok on one and refined a ton from there. It's always great fun working for them as they give me a lot of creative control and I get to give my own interpretation of their deep philosophical lyrics and complex grooves.
